Coral from the series Fear, 2018
Oil on canvas
200 x 250 cm
Fear is a serial work from 2018, of around 80 different pieces of mixed media, including Coral. Fear is a fundamental feeling of a human being. It’s mostly a survival instinct, though there are also fears that are called phobias, when a person creates a monster in his consciousness and confronts or avoids it himself. The list of these phobias is very diverse. There is one phobia, which is a fear of symmetrical (or asymmetric) lines or dots in large numbers. The essence of Coral is this particular fear.
