if you want to find the magical parts for your metaphysical spaceship you have to look there where they don’t usually look for things.
working in a very wide range of medias and investigating worlds that are not linked with one another gives you an opportunity to sculpt new concepts, make new cocktails, this huge ceramics were once used in huge electricity farms, their visual side of this ceramics is nothing but an accident, form follows function and in this case the material does too. the most beautiful things were not intended to be beautiful. so are these ceramics, standing like some tropical crystals with trees growing out of them, so this finding something a new function is like re-inventing it. its my favorite type of art, the one that just involves taking and placing things in a new environment, but creates a whole new perspective.
